Line Manager
Job Responsibilities:
– Create and maintain high quality software components to be integrated in S&B products
– All aspects of people management – among them: Planning of trainings, annual talks, monitoring daily operation, advising and consulting daily work, motivate and stabilize teams
– Support HR in application processes to grow the teams
– Budget and vacation planning
Education & Experiences:
– Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical engineering or comparable with a software development background
– At least 5 years of experience in Software Development, of which at least 2 years in a managing role
– Java Knowledge
– Very good orally and written English skills
– Mindset for agile software development
Good to have:
– Business administration basic knowledge
– Knowledge in the following technical domains: J2EE, Webservices, Hosting, Virtualization techniques, Linux
– Knowledge in continuous integration and test automation and continuous deployment
– Experience in geographically distributed software development
A plus would be:
– German language skills
– Cultural experiences in Europe
– Experiences in migrating from a waterfall software development process to an agile one
