Content Writer
Mission:
Create, develop and manage content for Jumia’s brand assortment.
Improve and optimize existing product content in your country to the Jumia standard.
Work with proprietary content tools in order to make products readable and attractive.
Ensure the implementation of tasks and projects defined by the Team Lead.
Monitor and track product quality through requests and Jumia back end tools
Work closely with image editors, QC staff, photographers and various departments as well as maintain content team’s best practices and procedures
Profil:
Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
Competent in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), Google Docs and HTML.
Professionalism and deadline oriented
Great Attention to details: ability to maintain accuracy despite repetitive nature of work
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of the online marketplace and the e-commerce industry
