Role:                                                                                   

Quality, Environmental H&S Management systems maintaining & monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop company management systems
  • Develop a customer focused & business continual improvement plans & key performance indicators which covers quality, environment, H&S based on risk assessment and best practices
  • Occupational H&S reporting, risk assessment, incidents and internal audits monitoring
  • Chair H&S Committees
  • Lead cross functional teams

related to QEHS targets and objectives

  • Maintain and implement QEHS

programs and processes

  • Participate in audit activities

(internal and external) and reviews necessary to meet company and

regulatory requirements including identification of QEHS issues and

implementation of corrective actions

  • Monitor for changes in legislation,

and advise senior Management of changing requirements or new developments and implement changes into procedures as required

  • Conduct Management Reviews

within area of responsibility

  • Management of QEHS Direct reports and oversight Team & set adequate goals
  • Identify and timely submit all applicable EHS requirements

Employee may be required to carry out other, ad hoc duties, as may be reasonably required with international travel

 

Authorities

  • Host and conduct BULGIN external audits
  • Liaise with relevant authorities, customers, and contractors on QEHS matters.
  • Evaluate and approve management systems key corrective and preventive action
  • Incidents investigations communication to external parties
  • Internal audits reports evaluation and approval

 

Competences:                                                                

 

Personal qualification: 

Essential

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Quality H&S and environmental Management or equivalent
  • Qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or equivalent
  • NEBOSH (General practitioner) or IOSH or equivalent
  • Current passport
  • Tunisia car driving licence
  • Desirable
  • Ability of analysis and implement solutions to complex business issues and or a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

 

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in similar position

Required skills :

  • A good understanding of business practices and management systems in accordance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 or equivalent in a medium sized technology related company
  • Effective resolution of business issues, incidents and emergencies in a relevant industry using a variety of problem solving and improvement techniques
  • Leadership skills with good communication, strategic planning, decision making
  • Understanding of the application of compliance tools and techniques
  • Ability and capability to effectively manage a direct report
  • Understanding of compliance management systems
  • Analytical, problem solving and auditing skills
  • Effective engagement, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Able to challenge and influence peers and seniors across the business in an objective and constructive manner.

IT and language Skills

  • Microsoft office Professional
  • Excellent English language level (IELTS 5 or equivalent)
  • Excellent French language level
