Recruitment Administrator – Pre-Employment Screening
This is a new PART TIME role (24 hours/3days a week) that we have created to support the global recruitment activity of Aktis Strategy. You will be working remotely from Tunisia, joining an HR team based in London, whilst working closely with and supporting the activities of the Talent Acquisition Team. Additional support from the local Aktis team and HR focal point in the Tunis office will also be provided.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR in London, your role is to determine the past performance of candidates and investigate the background of prospective employees in terms of work history and organisational risk. We are looking to bring onboard and draw a sensible conclusion as to whether an employee may represent a future risk to our business.
Specific Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of coordination and administration activity necessary for the successful completion of the Aktis Pre-Employment Screening Process.
This will include but are not limited to the below:
Passport validation and right to work check
Employment verification
Gap period analysis
Global watch list
Character references
Academic verification
Disqualified UK directorship
Criminal record check (liaise with provider)
In order to carry out these checks it will be your responsibility to liaise externally with candidates, referees, criminal record check providers and online providers.
Internally you will need to liaise and update HR colleagues and the Global Talent Acquisition team.
Managing and updating the Recruitment Database and e-onboarding tool recording all aspects of each potential candidates screening procedure is an essential part of this role.
All new employees and consultants to Aktis need to be screened swiftly and professionally whilst adhering to Aktis Ethical Values.
You will be expected to support with other administrative activities such as reporting, printing documentation, data inputting, candidate correspondence, and may from time to time provide support to the Tunisian Office Manager as well.
Requirements:
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills with a high work standards and attention to detail.
Fluency (written, reading and verbal) in English, Arabic and French with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Additional languages are an advantage but not required.
Minimum of two years administration experience
