Your Role
Job Description
In order to support our global growth, we are looking for a Head of Software Development. You will work directly for our company, based in diverse locations accross the globe. As Head of Department, you will perform as referent in the Back End Development department and will be responsible for a fast growing team of 120+ people based world wide – including a big cluster in Vietnam & Tunisia. You will have 7 direct reports, the managers leading the different pillars of the Development team. Your main responsibilities include :
Define the Strategy of your department to match with Amaris yearly IT targets
Manage directly & grow up 7 key people in your department: improve their role within the organization, set up objectives, follow their achievements.
Lead by Exemplarity: You know how to code, you know the news and latest technologies! Be passionate!
Guaranty good stability on each local team (5+ Platform worldwide) thanks to a good management of the Platform Managers
Solve any difficult situation the team may face and act as a main point of contact between the team and the Governance
Participate actively in the IT Development Organisation, define the processes and improve the workflow of the team
Collaborate pro-actively with the other departments :T est & Quality Control Department, PMO, Front End, Architecture, etc.
Follow topics inside the department and make them go further
You will directly report to the Head of IT Production.
Ideal Candidate
With a master degree and/or an engineer diploma, you have a previous technical experiences in Back End Developpement (C#, SQL, Web Microsoft, ASP .Net MVC5, .Net Core, Entity Framework environment) and a strong project management experience. You are an organised and rigorous person, with a natural leadership. Proactive and bold, you have the ability to drive a project and set up objectives in order to improve the organisation and the results of a department. Young and dynamic, you want to blossom contributing to a company in full expansion. You have a positive mind and are able to quickly find solution to any problem. You will receive a personal training during your integration period in the company. You have to master English and ideally French.
